I'll dominate 'credible combatant' Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to seriously aim to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually known for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
